Xinjiang Turpan CSP + PV Intergrated Project (100MW CT CSP)
Second batch of large-scale scenic base projects in Xinjiang
100MW CT CSP and 900MW PV
Project Overview

The Xinjiang Turpan CSP + PV Integration Project is one of the second batch of market-oriented grid-connected new energy projects in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 2022, and an important supporting project to promote the development and growth of the new energy industry in Turpan, with a total investment of approximately 6 billion yuan. The project site is in Qiketai Town, Shanshan County, Turpan City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with a total installed capacity of 1GW, including 900MW PV (AC side) and 100MW CT CSP. The 100MW CT CSP, with a 12-hour molten salt storage system, will adopt the molten salt tower CSP technology fully developed by Cosin Solar.

China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Huaye Power Engineering Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the EPC project of the 100MW CSP project, Cosin Solar will mainly be responsible for the technical scheme, equipment integration and supply, related commissioning, and operation guidance services of the Solar field and MSR system and will also provide necessary technical support for other systems as required by the owner.
