Jinta ZhongGuang Solar "CSP + PV" pilot project is the second batch of large-scale scenic base projects focusing on deserts, Gobi and deserts, located in Jinta County, Jiuquan City, Baisui Spring photoelectric industry zone, with a total installed capacity of 700MW. It is a hybrid power plant with 100MW CT CSP and 600MW PV. The 100MW CT CSP project, with a 8-hour molten salt thermal storage, use solar thermal tower technology fully developed by Cosin Solar.

Its designed The total investment of the project is about 6.6 billion USD, the designed annual production is 1370 GWh and will save 480,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 1,310,000 tons of CO₂ emission per year. The project commenced construction on Mar. 2022,  the tower reached the top on Nov. 2022，and the receiver body hoisting was successfully completed in Jan. 2024.
